Most Beautiful Places in Cox’s Bazar

Cox’s Bazar is a town on the southeast coast of Bangladesh. It’s known for its very long, sandy beachfront, stretching from Sea Beach in the north to Kolatoli Beach in the south. Aggameda Khyang monastery is home to bronze statues and centuries-old Buddhist manuscripts. South of town, the tropical rainforest of Himchari National Park has waterfalls and many birds. North, sea turtles breed on nearby Sonadia Island.

Walking beside the sea shore on moonlit night is always pleasant for all tourists.The local people have a slow pace walked life – most work happens in the morning and evening, whereas midday is reserved for drying rice and fish. During the day time, some villagers sell coconuts while others sit under the shade of trees chewing paan (betel leaf).

Himchari is another most attractive place for the visitors in Cox’s Bazar. It is situated 18 km south of Cox’s Bazar, along the beach.

Himchari is famous place for picnic and film shooting. It is also famous for it’s waterfalls and the road to Himchari runs between the open sea on one side and hills on the other side which makes the journey to Himchari very attractive.

5. Inani Beach

Inani Beach is also a beautiful sea beach in Ukhia Thana and is about 32 km to the south of Cox’s Bazar. It is famous for its golden sand. Inani beach attracts most of the tourist who appreciate the wonders of nature. Inani Beach, widely considered to be the world’s longest beach, is fringed with tall palm trees swaying gently in the breeze and has a calm lagoon which is perfect for the little ones to paddle in.

Sitting on the rock and coral boulders with the warm waves lapping on the shore around you, as they have done for millions of years, can be a very rewarding experience. Seashells of all shapes, colors and sizes are found along Inani Beach, making beach combing a popular entertainment. Every year many foreign and local tourists come here to spend their leisure in Inani Beach.
