Most Beautiful Places in Cox’s Bazar

Cox’s Bazar is a town on the southeast coast of Bangladesh. It’s known for its very long, sandy beachfront, stretching from Sea Beach in the north to Kolatoli Beach in the south. Aggameda Khyang monastery is home to bronze statues and centuries-old Buddhist manuscripts. South of town, the tropical rainforest of Himchari National Park has waterfalls and many birds. North, sea turtles breed on nearby Sonadia Island.

1. Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach

Cox’s Bazaar sea beach is the longest beach in the world. And this is definitely one of the biggest tourist attractions of the country. Located in Chittagong District, this sea beach on the Bay of Bengal overlooks the mighty waves breaking on the shore.

Miles of golden sands, towering cliffs, surging waves, rare conch shells, colorful pagodas, Buddhist temples and local tribes with mouth-watering sea-food has made Cox’s Bazar the tourist capital of Bangladesh. 2. Kolatoli Beach

Kolatoli beach is an attractive beach for the tourists. It is situated in Cox’s Bazar. Every year people of different ages come here to take the real taste of taking sea-bath. Visitor’s can enjoy taking sea bath, driving sea ski boat, and taking fresh and appealing various kinds of sea foods.

Walking beside the sea shore on moonlit night is always pleasant for all tourists.The local people have a slow pace walked life – most work happens in the morning and evening, whereas midday is reserved for drying rice and fish. During the day time, some villagers sell coconuts while others sit under the shade of trees chewing paan (betel leaf).

3. Laboni Beach

Laboni beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cox’s Bazar. It is the main beach of Cox’s Bazar as it is at the central location and close to the town. It is a beach where you see the natural beauty..

Close to the beach, there are hundreds of small shops selling souvenirs and beach accessories to the tourists. The beach is always crowded by tourists. Visitors can sunbathe, surf, jog, cycle, and swim. It is best for swimming and relaxation.

4. Himchari

Himchari is another most attractive place for the visitors in Cox’s Bazar. It is situated 18 km south of Cox’s Bazar, along the beach.

Himchari is famous place for picnic and film shooting. It is also famous for it’s waterfalls and the road to Himchari runs between the open sea on one side and hills on the other side which makes the journey to Himchari very attractive.

5. Inani Beach

Inani Beach is also a beautiful sea beach in Ukhia Thana and is about 32 km to the south of Cox’s Bazar. It is famous for its golden sand. Inani beach attracts most of the tourist who appreciate the wonders of nature. Inani Beach, widely considered to be the world’s longest beach, is fringed with tall palm trees swaying gently in the breeze and has a calm lagoon which is perfect for the little ones to paddle in.
